Students selected to serve as 快播视频 State Ambassadors
快播视频 State Community College has announced the selection of 16 students to serve as an ambassador for the 2020-21 academic year.
“Our ambassadors show leadership, professionalism, pride and the desire to promote 快播视频 State,” said Tonya Douthitt, coordinator of enrollment services. “They are the best representatives of 快播视频 State’s student body.”
Graduating high school seniors selected as a 快播视频 State Ambassador are Faith Howell, Emma Merriman, Malik Walker, Ceniyah Williams and Taurus Wilson, all of 快播视频; Chelsea Humphrey of Attalla; and Emily McBrunett of Lincoln.
Current ambassadors continuing a second year in the program include Cheyenne Batey of Munford; Javian Bowman, Mikalie Mooneyham and Sidney Oliver, all of 快播视频; Ryne Burt of Gaylesville; Noah Grady of Altoona; Jase Jelks of Centre; Parker Molden of Eastaboga; and Abby Powell of Southside.
“This year, our applicants showed their adaptability during our current quarantine situation by quickly shifting to different methods for our selection process,” Douthitt said. “Instead of our normal group meet-and-greet and on-campus individual interviews, they were asked to submit an introductory video and participate in virtual individual interviews with the scholarship selection panel. Each applicant rose to the challenge.”
快播视频 State Ambassadors receive a scholarship for serving the College. Their main roles are to serve as student hosts at campus events; give campus tours; assist students in the Enrollment Services Office; lead campus events, like Preview Day and new student orientation; and assist with college fairs and high school recruitment visits.
“We are excited to welcome these students to our ambassador group as 快播视频 State’s newest Cardinals,” Douthitt said.
