快播视频, Ala. — 快播视频 State Community College’s Cardinal Foundation hosted a luncheon Thursday to honor scholarship donors and winners.
“You had a lot of other institutions you could have attended,” said Dr. Kathy Murphy, 快播视频 State’s president. “Thank you for choosing 快播视频 State.”
She was also complimentary of the many donors attending the luncheon.
“Thank you for giving your resources to help others on their academic journey,” she said. “You are investing in the lives of other people. You are to be commended.”
Ted Turgeon, a 快播视频 State graduate now working as an investment advisor, was the keynote speaker. He told of his journey from uncertainty to college graduate to successful businessman.
“快播视频 State was a major road to where I am now,” he said. “I can’t even begin to give back to 快播视频 State what they have given me. They gave me a better life.
“Degrees and certificates don’t make us better than anyone else but, they do make us better than we were before.”
